Evolving Our Name, Maintaining Our Purpose: López-Wagner Strategies is Now Equitable Comms
When I launched this agency six years ago as a one-person shop, it grew out of a simple, grounding belief: applying an equitable and inclusive lens to strategic communications acts as a force multiplier for social change.
Since then, we’ve had the honor of partnering with more than 60 grassroots, philanthropic, and movement organizations. We’ve grown from that solo practice into an award-winning team of five and a deep bench of expert collaborators, all dedicated to driving change on the most pressing issues of our lifetimes. Ocean-climate justice, equitable access to the outdoors and environmental learning, public health, and more.
Today, López-Wagner Strategies is officially becoming Equitable Comms—a natural evolution that reflects the work we do every day and the collective strength of the team driving it in partnership with you.
While our name is evolving, our core purpose remains unchanged: New name, same values. We remain an award-winning, Latina-owned, and neurodivergent-led and affirming Equitable Communications Agency®.
