Our Equitable Comms team is launching the Climate Heroes series. Through this new series, our goal is to highlight climate and ocean justice leaders—the advocates who dedicate their lives to protecting communities above and below water. Whether working locally, nationally, or globally, these individuals are changemakers who challenge the status quo and inspire us to love for a better world.

The López-Wagner Strategies team conducted a preliminary analysis of the labor rights and justice issues in Puerto Rico – issues faced by union and non-union workers, as well as their communities. The work, which began in the Spring of 2024, recently culminated with the delivery of these findings in May 2025 to our client partners.

As February begins and we settle into 2025, the López-Wagner Strategies team is taking a moment to reflect on the past year – our work, our impact, and the lessons that continue to guide us forward.
